Projects

My life is littered with little projects. Sometimes I'm able to stick with them fairly well. Other times I get distracted by work or other things in my life, and they fall by the wayside. I'm hoping I can keep my focus on these projects a little better by writing about some of them here.

Learning Japanese

I've been learning Japanese for a little while for a few reasons:

1. I have always wanted to learn a second language.
2. I want to speak at least a little Japanese when me and my wife travel to Japan for a month.
3. My wife speaks conversational Japanese, and it would be cool to be able to speak it with her. That's also the best way to retain a language.

I've started writing about this process and will continue to do so.
